I'm planning a short solo trip to Belgium in the coming week or so. I have limited time and budget, so I thought I could stay in one city in Belgium rather than travel around. I have roughly 3 days in total to spend in Belgium, my question is, which city should I pick? I realize this is a very subjective question, based on all the forums I've read, people can't seem to come to a consensus about which city is 'better', and at the end of the day, it still comes down to what the traveler…
My girlfriend is facing the big five-o in August and to aleviate her concerns about this landmark age, I am taking her out in Bruges for a couple of days. Can anyone recommend me a nice little-known-to-tourists restaurant that would be in keeping with the romantic atmosphere I'm trying to find to honour this occasion?
Yes we are starting in France and riding bikes to the Netherlands, but most of this trip is in dear lovely friendly beautiful Belgium, so thought I'd ask the Belgium experts.
I need to pick up a special tandem bike (Hase Pino - not so large) for my child and I in Nijmegan. Then we want to go take public transportation to Charleville-Mezieres France, then ride the Meuse/Maas river back to Nijmegan. This seemed like a good plan, but it seems like a very long trip with many transfers by train…
We have 10 days and we want to explore Belgium .. Any suggestions on itinerary please? We are a couple with a 9 year old daughter ..
I tried to search but could not find .. . thanks much in advance ...
I would like to ask if restaurants and shops in Bruges and Ghent are open on Labour day? Is it better to go to Brussels on that day instead? I'm kinda scared of it, because we would have to spend whole day in a ghost town without any food we could buy for the way back home and no hot chocolate. Thank you very much.
We're overnighting with our kids in Belgium en route from London to Vienna by train. We were thinking about staying the night in Brussels ... but it's occurred to me we could stay in Bruges instead. I've been to both, but not with kids. Any thoughts on what might be a better option? We'll have one afternoon and one morning wherever we stay, so not a massive amount of time. Thanks
Are there travellers in Brussels right now? Do you have plans to celebrate New Year's eve? Can I join? Cause I don't know anybody in Brussels and I don't kbow what to do!
If someone is interested send me a message, please;)
