One of the region's loveliest villages, little Crupet is set in gloriously verdant rolling countryside east of Yvoir. It's locally famous for trout dishes, served in a handful of restaurants. Beside the stone church is an amusingly kitschy grotto shrine, and in the stream valley below is picturesque Château des Carondelet, a moated 13th-century tower-house. It's private but photogenic from the outside, especially in morning light.
