This classic, high-ceilinged bar once provided after-sales refreshment to market fishmongers. Now it's the place to come for Antwerp's best-pulled pintje (beer from €2.20).

Like his father before him, Yves Van Roy stores his Stella Artois in 1000L tanks using a special vacuum-bag system to avoid the gassiness of keg beer. He has also won a 'golden tap' award for his carefully honed if deceptively simple pouring technique. A Stella never tasted so good.
