This institution is where Bahrain first fell in love with Japanese food. There are all the usual suspects, but there's also miso black cod, Wagyu beef cooked on a volcanic stone and 'New-Style Sashimi' such as salmon and grapefruit with yuzu black-pepper dressing or Japanese sea bream with white wine and truffle soy sauce. Its Sunday brunch is one of Bahrain's best.
There's also a teppanyaki room, a sushi bar, bento boxes for lunch, and a three-course business lunch where they promise to serve all three courses in 30 minutes. Dress conservatively; shorts are not allowed.
Is there anything they don't do well at Bushido? This fine Japanese restaurant also happens to be an ubercool lounge bar with great views, down-tempo tunes and reassuring proximity to outstanding Japanese cooking.
