Located in the MAK, Salon Plafond is the gallery's latest venture, with an ingredient-focused menu that plays up careful sourcing. The menu seesaws with the seasons, with starters such as autumn salad with pomegranate and walnut piquing the appetite for mains such as venison with Jerusalem artichoke.

Sleek architectural lines contrast with a coffered ceiling in the restaurant and the lounge-bar is strikingly lit by a wine-glass chandelier.
