Zwölf Apostelkeller

Pub in Stephansdom & the Historic Centre

Occupying a vast, dimly lit tri-level cellar dating back to the Romanesque and Gothic period, Zwölf Apostelkeller has a spirited atmosphere bolstered by traditional Heuriger (wine-tavern) ballads from 7pm daily. In addition to outstanding local wines there's also a good choice of schnapps and beer, and a menu of traditional dishes (schnitzel, suckling pig, Tafelspitz) made from all-Austrian ingredients.
