Café Rüdigerhof

in Karlsplatz & Around Naschmarkt

Rüdigerhof’s facade is a glorious example of Jugendstil architecture, and the '50s furniture and fittings inside could be straight out of an I Love Lucy set. The atmosphere is homey and familiar, and the shaded wraparound garden huge. Hearty Austrian fare – huge schnitzels, spinach Spätzle (noodles), goat's cheese strudel – is way above average. On Saturday mornings it fills with Naschmarkt shoppers.
