As beautiful as Vienna is, after a while you might get tired of visiting palaces and museums. This is the time to take a break of the city and explore with us the beauty of its surroundings. The famous Vienna Woods, vineyards as far as the eye can see, chains of gentle hills and stunning views over the city - all of that is not to be missed while visiting Vienna!
We meet at the last stop of the tram line D, called "Nussdorf". You can access the tram line D right in the city centre, e.g. from the State Opera/Karlsplatz. We start and end our tour in Nussdorf. Our walk leads us through vineyards and forest up to the famous Kahlenberg with stunning views over Vienna. We can make a coffee break up there (optional) before heading downhill again. Depending on season and weekday, the wine taverns along the trail might be open. If this is the case, it is possible to make a break there and try some local wine and snacks (optional).
Walking time is approx. 2,5 - 3 hrs excl. breaks, depending on speed
