Waterfalls, mountains lake, famous huts, gorgeous views and many more.We'll leave Bratislava town in the morning, because in the afternoon we want to do a first hike. In High Tatras are some villages with ideal start points for hiking to the mountains or valleys. The village Štrbské pleso is the most well-known and the most popular place in High Tatras. It is a small village with the same-named mountain lake, where many sport events take place, and many Slovak and international athletes organize their training camps.You can relax there the whole day; you can walk around the lake, rent a small boat, go for luxurious wellness procedures or go hiking.Štrbské pleso is suitable also for walking with small children. The size of the lake is 19,76 ha, thanks to which it is the second largest one in Slovakia with the altitude of 1 346 m above sea level. You can walk around the whole mountain lake on very nice and easy terrain. The length is approximately 2 200 m.1 Day: Walking around Štrbské plesoEasy afternoon walking around lake in Štrbské pleso village. Take a rest at your hotel.You can go also to the lake Jamské pleso. In this hike, you will come to Jamské pleso from Štrbské pleso by the red marked tourist route leading up to the peak Kriváň. The mountain lake is hidden in the woods; it has beautiful color and the atmosphere there is very peaceful. The hike to the lake takes approximately 1,5 hours and the terrain goes up and down regularly and moderately, so the hike is very nice.2 Day: The most beautiful mountain lakes in TatrasWe will go to one of the most beautiful lakes in Tatras. At first, we'll visit the Popradské pleso with an amazingly looking lake and symbolic cemetery dedicated to victims of High Tatras. There are two mountain hotels near the lake, where we can rest for a while. From Popradské pleso, we will continue approximately for 2 hours to the biggest and the deepest mountain lake in High Tatras called Veľké Hincovo pleso.Route: Štrbské Pleso - Popradské pleso - Veľké Hincovo pleso and back by the same route.Duration: approximately 5 - 6 hoursDifficulty level: from easy to moderate3 day: The hike to Skok waterfallsFrom Štrbské pleso, we will go to Mlynická dolina. It is a very nice hike, in which we will come to the waterfall called Skok just after 2 hours of slow and easy walk.The hike consists of 4 kilometers of an easy, but also a little bit more difficult terrain in Tatras. The route is full of stones; it leads through the woods, dwarf pines and ends by the waterfalls. The hike itself is very interesting, and children will surely not get bored.Route and duration: Štrbské pleso – Skok waterfalls and back approximately 3,5 hours.After this tour we'll move to Bratislava/Vienna.
