Tour description provided by Viator

A hike in one of the most famous regions of Austria, the Wachau, protected by international law. We will visit two of the best viewing points of this lovely valley.
The Hohe Stein (High Stone) lies in the Dunkelsteinerwald and is a quiet and idyllic place with a wonderful view over a large part of the Wachau and down to the Danube. For some it is considered the most beautiful vantage point in the entire Wachau. But even the remote Rote Wand (Red Wall) invites you to linger and is a worthwhile destination. This tour we offer in two variants, with descent on the scenic Mauertal or the historically interesting (Römerweg, Türkentor) Kupfertal.Hiking time: 4 hours | Difference in height: 550 meters | We are able to transport up to 6 persons by our own car!
