Framed around the Dismal Swamp sinkhole (the largest sinkhole in the southern hemisphere), this adventure centre 32km southwest of Smithton is home to a 110m-long 'serpent slide', which provides a thrilling descent through the dense old-growth canopy to more than 1km of boardwalks on the forest floor. Sliders must be over eight years of age and at least 90cm tall.

There's a licensed cafe and an interpretation centre in the reception area – the cafe’s outdoor deck is itself a fine forest perch – and a cantilevered lookout platform overhanging the sinkhole beside the slide.
