We are a small-group specialist (and group private tours) operating in the picturesque, world famous wine region of the Barossa Valley. Relax and enjoy the secrets of the Barossa while sampling outstanding Rieslings and Chardonnays with subtle fruity flavours, superb Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignons through to the Barossa's unforgettable fortified wines. Your tastebuds will also be tantalised by local delights from boutique dried fruits to delectable artisan cheeses. Wine tastings are included. Our Barossa guests enjoy a pickup from your accommodation between 9.30am - 10.00am. If you are travelling from Adelaide feel free to contact us on 0409486783 to obtain a quote for a pickup and return to Adelaide for groups of up to 11 guests.
Embrace the Best of the Barossa with our full day food and wine tour that commences with a 10 minute drive from Tanunda to the historic village of Angaston. Gully Gardens dried fruit factory has developed a niche market in producing delicious, high quality dried fruit and confectionary products. We are able to sample and purchase a wide range of these delicious products. A two minute drive takes us to Thorn Clarke winery, nestled in the beautiful Eden Valley. We have the opportunity to enjoy world class wines which can be purchased at very affordable prices. James Halliday has rated Thorn Clarke wines a five star for the past 11 years.We enjoy the magnificent scenery on our short drive back to the Barossa Valley Cheese Factory. It opened its doors in March 2003 in the idyllic town of Angaston. Their range includes cow and goat milk cheeses, with Victoria and her small team always seeking innovative ideas and refining traditional methods in cheesemaking. Their washed rind cheese has become a speciality. Enjoy cheese tasting and tasting halloumi (subject to availability)On our way back to Tanunda we stop of at Chateau Dorrien to sample a range of full of flavour, unique wines and other beverages before having lunch at our café in Tanunda. Our lunch is included in the tour price, as well as a complimentary drink.  After lunch we visit some of the Barossa’s most iconic wineries including wine tastings at Seppeltsfield and Langmeil or Peter Lehmann wineries.Optional VIP cellar door experiences and tour options are available at Seppeltsfield including- Barossa Heritage Tour (behind the scenes tour) $15- Fortified wine and Canapes Tasting Experience (delicious canapes and premium fortified wines) $35            - Centenary Tour (private tastings including super premium fortified wines)   $125  If you are interested in participating - check out Seppeltsfield website. We provide an information brochure and organise bookings on the day for your convenience.At the end of the tour, we take our Barossa guests back to their accommodation at 3.30pm, while our Adelaide gusest enjoy an extra half an hour at Seppeltsfield winery. At 4.00pm we leave with our Adelaide guests are return to our drop of point at approximately 5.00pm.
