So close to the Victorain border it hurts, the Piccaninnie Ponds are part of an amazing flooded limestone cave system, famous for its gin-clear water bubbling up from a spring far, far below. Cave diving is the sport of choice here, descending to see features such as the Cathedral and the Chasm; or, if you retain some skerrick of sanity, just take a swim across the surface.
