Magpie & Stump Hotel

Pub in Mintaro

The ol' Magpie & Stump was first licensed in 1851, and was a vital rehydration point for the copper carriers along the trail between Burra and Port Wakefield. Schnitzels and steaks, log fires, pool table, Mintaro-slate floors and sunny beer garden out the front − it's been fancied-up a bit lately, but it's still an enticing spot for a drink.
