Shepparton Art Museum

Victoria

This small but interesting regional museum is best known for its impressive collection of Australian and international ceramics. It also has some fabulous colonial and modern pieces, including works by Frederick McCubbin (of the Heidelberg School), plus Australian women modernists such as Grace Cossington Smith. A modern highlight is Woman and Child by sculptor Sam Jinks.

Interesting temporary exhibitions are often on here as well.
