Embark on a journey into the depths of the oldest low-lying rainforest in the world, estimated to be between 110 to 180 Million years old (6-10 times older than the Amazon Rainforest!)With a glimpse into the indigenous culture, a daring croc spotting boat cruise, beautiful lookouts, guided bush walk, a refreshing dip at Mossman Gorge and walks down the stunning beaches… We are not sure if you are going to want to leave our beautiful region afterwards!We have local guides and this tour focuses strongly on Rainforest Conservation and Indigenous culture... supporting local tribes in the sustainabilty of their teachings. Home to the Local Indiginous tribe the Kuku Yalangi people. We now proceed to the crocodile infested Daintree River!Here we’ll board a small sea vessel where we’ll go sight seeing for snakes, marine life, birds, and of course crocodiles!The Daintree river ferry is next on our list as we make our way over the water to the breathtaking scenic look out. There is a fantastic menu to choose from for our guests. (Note: Lunch is an addittional cost to the tour, there is no Vegan food options on the menu so Vegans please bring your own lunch.) After Lunch we then set off for viewing of the beautiful Cape Tribulation beach and short mangrove walk. Our guides will teach you of the diverse Fauna and flora of the Tropical Rainforest.After spending a considerable amount of time at Cape Tribualtion we now make tracks south bound for the coastal hip town of Port Douglas!Duration: 45 minutesStop At: Four Mile Beach, Port Douglas, QueenslandOn route to Port Douglas we pull in along the way for some yummy Aunty Betty’s Biodinamic Ice Cream!Arriving in the late afternoon approximatly 5pm we take a short stop over in Port Douglas! Checking out the lookout nestled in the Mountain. From here guests can view the World famous Four-mile Beach Port Douglas! Here you will learn of some Local knowledge and history of the small and famous town!After a long but action packed day its now time to set off home back to Cairns.Duration: 15 minutes
