Chef Manpreet Singh Tung seems an unlikely candidate to be operating this eatery as his cooking pedigree includes stints with acclaimed chefs Guy Grossi and Pam Talimanidis. But here on Phillip Island he is and tiny Bani's is a delight. Meat eaters should opt for the slow-cooked lamb or a souvlaki; vegetarians for the herb-laden vegan bowl. BYO (corkage $5pp).
