Discover the history and natural beauty of Tasmania’s stunning east coast on this full day tour from Hobart to Wineglass Bay.  Before leaving Hobart, take in expansive views of the city, Mt Wellington and the Derwent River from the eastern shore at Rosny Hill Lookout. Then follow the original settlers route through the Coal River Valley, home to some of Tasmania's most popular wineries, to the Historic Georgian township of Richmond where you can admire the oldest convict built bridge still in use. Travel on to Tasmania’s east coast through farmland and forest with a stop at the quaint Buckland church to marvel at 14th century stained glass windows then follow the Great Eastern Drive through the seaside town of Orford, with a stop at Raspins Beach, where you can admire views of Maria Island and hear stories of its colorful past. A brief stop at Spiky Beach and a second convict built bridge will leave you pondering at it's unique design. On the approach to Swansea and beyond you will be treated to spectacular views of the Mountainous Hazards on the Freycinet Peninsula. Spend over 4 hours exploring Freycinet National Park including a guided walk to Wineglass bay lookout where views of this world renowned beach will take your breath away.  Enjoy stunning cliff top views at Cape Tourville - you may even spot some marine wild life. Visit Sleepy Bay with its amazing natural rock sculptures and bull kelp forests. Absorb the serenity of Honeymoon Bay and let the ocean air fill your lungs on the white sands of the expansive Friendly Beaches. Delight in the opportunity to Indulge in fresh local seafood at the Freycinet Marine Farm and on our way back to Hobart, be tempted by delicious homemade chocolates, jams, berry sweets and ice cream at the picturesque Kate’s Berry Farm.Pick up and drop off from your Hobart accommodation is included.
