Kakadu Cultural Tours

Top choice Tours

in Kakadu National Park

Aboriginal-owned and -operated, the excellent Kakadu Cultural Tours covers northern Kakadu and Arnhem Land. Their Arnhemlander Cultural & Heritage Tour is the best way to see western Arnhem Land and covers rock art, billabongs and the fabulous Injalak Arts. Their Guluyambi Cultural Cruise along the East Alligator River is similarly outstanding, with Indigenous stories and plenty of crocs.

The Guluyambi Cultural Cruise leaves from the boat ramp not far south of Cahill's Crossing, while the Arnhemlander begins at the Border Store; they also do pick-ups from Jabiru hotels. In the wet season, from mid-February to mid-April, they run an amended version (adult/child $156/98) of the Guluyambi cruise, with a short 4WD component and a visit to the Ubirr rock art and Nardab Lookout.

Because the company is owned by the traditional owners of northern Kakadu region, KCT goes places others don't. They offer a range of one- to three-day packages, some with accommodation.
