An award-winning, waterside destination restaurant, Wasabi is well known to visiting gourmands. Premium produce from the region and Wasabi's own farm sings in delicate, technically brilliant dishes like handmade bunya- and soba-flour noodles with local sand crab, hens yolk, smoked sand-crab dashi and duck fat, or chocolate sorbet with black kinako milk gelée, sake poached cherry and barrel-aged rice wine. The drinks list includes premium Japanese spirits, as well as cocktails inspired by Wasabi's local farm. The restaurant also runs a cooking school, with numerous courses available.
