Enjoy an epic food and wine tour of the Yarra Valley departing from Melbourne. Take in the beautiful countryside with informative commentary as you travel by comfortable bus through to the heart of the Middle Yarra. You'll visit three premium boutique wineries for wine tastings to appreciate the terroir and current vintages of this cool-climate region. At one of the wineries, you'll enjoy a seasonal main course with estate wine (of your choice). Along our scenic wine trail, you'll visit the famous Yarra Valley Dairy to taste hand-made cheeses. You will then visit a craft brewery to quench your thirst on a glass of their beer or apple/pear cider. For the finale, we head over to Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice-creamery where you can indulge in copious amounts of chocolate samples. This is an all-inclusive day trip with the tour price covering all fees involving wine and cheese tasting, lunch with wine, glass of beer or cider, and transfer from and back to Melbourne.
• 9:35 AM: Meet your guide at the centrally convenient pick-up point in front of St Paul's Cathedral (located on the corner of Flinders Street & Swanston Street). You will be escorted onto a comfortable bus then set off for the most epic tasting tour of the Yarra Valley. It's noteworthy that to provide you the best experience, prior to joining the tour please ensure that you've enjoyed a nice big Melbournian breakfast and advise your host of any seating preferences you may need. • 9:45 AM: We aim to leave at this set time so please plan your trip to the pick-up accordingly. On the way to the scenic Yarra Valley region, your guide will give you informative commentary into the world of wine appreciation, covering various topics such as Australian and Yarra Valley wines, local terroir and current trends. Also enjoy the upbeat vibes on this tour with your host curating a dynamic music playlist to suit all ages.  • 11:00 AM: Arrive at the first winery to enjoy single-vineyard wine tastings and the beautiful scenery. The cellar-door staff will guide you through each tastings with discussion around aromas, flavor and texture of each varietal.  Tastings included. • 12:00 PM: We often follow up with a second winery visit to further appreciate Yarra Valley wines. You'll start to realize that with regional wines, there are similarities and nuances between each winery that you'll enjoy. Tastings included. • 1:00 PM: Next visit the charming Yarra Valley Dairy to enjoy their hand-made cheeses using locally source cow and goat's milk. Tastings included. Please note that the YV Dairy visit is unavailable on Australian Public Holidays or their Peak Period (Dec 25th until Jan 8th). • 1:30 PM: It's time to sit down and enjoy a fresh seasonal main dish with a glass of estate wine at the third winery. Your tour guide will have presented you with information regarding lunch options and note down any special dietary requests. Main course plus glass of wine included. • 2:30 PM: Whilst at the last winery for lunch you'll also be guided through their selection of wines to enjoy. Tastings included. • 3:15 PM: You'll visit the famous Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice-creamery. Upon entrance you'll be tempted by bowls of complimentary chocolates for you to try. Have a wonder around the chocolate factory and indulge your sweet tooth with the many nice gift ideas.  • 4:00 PM: We finish at Yarra Valley's most beautiful complex owned by the Napoleone family. Here you'll visit the Napoleone Brewery and quench your remaining thirst. Busk in the sun and enjoy a glass of their selected beer or cider which is included. • 4:30 PM: Finally we say farewell to the Yarra Valley as you hop back on the bus for a return trip back to Melbourne with drop-off behind Federation Square.
