Designed primarily for tourists, this free tram service travels around the city centre, passing many sights along the way. It runs every 30 minutes and there's a recorded commentary. It's worth noting that trams within the CBD are also free, without the commentary.

A number of refurbished W-class trams operate on this route, but how many varies as they undergo maintenance. Built in Melbourne between 1923 and 1956, they have all been painted a distinctive deep burgundy or green and gold. In 2018 more than 1500 people applied to 'adopt' 134 retired trams for $1000 each, with one going to the set of Neighbours.
