Owners Don Koh and Yunie Choi bring a slice of Korea to Newtown at this contemporary eatery. Start with anju (small plates) – deep-fried tofu kimchi balls are a winner – then fill up with beef bulgogi, spicy chicken bibimbap or a deep-fried eggplant and tofu rice bowl. There’s a range of Korean and Japanese beer, along with soju (distilled rice wine).
Two sittings (at 5.30pm and 8pm) are available Thursday to Saturday nights. Reservations are recommended.
