Car & Motorcycle

If driving, fill up with petrol before heading to Cradle Mountain – although petrol is sold at the visitor centre, prices are higher there than in the towns. There's a petrol station at Derwent Bridge where the same caveat applies. If you park at the visitor centre, shuttle buses run into the park every 10 to 20 minutes throughout the day.
