This scenic 6.8km loop trail (two to three hours) starts from the car park and meanders gently through spinifex and in and out of several steep rocky gullies. There's very little shade and you must bring plenty of water. Don't want to do the whole loop? Do a hike to the Shothole Viewpoint (around 4km return) – the trail's scenic highlight.

Temperatures in the park can soar into the 40°Cs from December to March, so either avoid hiking at those times of year, or start out very early in the day.
