The interactive area is a great space for the kids to make fossil rubbings, complete colouring-in activities, touch real minerals, or just relax on the dinosaur bean bags and watch a documentary.The museum and gift shop also houses Canberra’s largest display of crystals and minerals. Rummage through the tumbled gem pit, crack open your own quartz geode, or view the huge range of fossil fish, ammonites, and meteorites for sale.
