Daily Redline buses from Burnie ($10.50, 30 minutes) and Wynyard ($6.10, 10 minutes) drop passengers at Boat Harbour Store, which is an unfortunate 4km trudge from the beach.

If driving from Wynyard, the best route is to follow the C234 northwest – there are some wonderful views of the cliffs and rocky coast along this road.
