There is no better way to see Bendigo than aboard a beautifully refurbished Vintage Talking Tram. Whether you're in Bendigo for the weekend or just have an hour to spare, a Vintage Talking Tram Tour is the quickest way to get your bearings and see the city's key landmarks and monuments. Or take your time discovering the city by hopping on and off the tram to explore the many parks, attractions, shopping and dining facilities that are within walking distance of the tram stops. Our friendly tram drivers and conductors are always happy to chat and give you some "insider" tips on what else there is to do during your Bendigo break. Each tour includes a 10-minute stop at the tram depot ... home to our heritage tram fleet. We highly recommend staying a bit longer to do the free self-guided tour and to meet Birney, our famous cat!

Don a hard hat and miner’s lamp, descend 61 metres beneath the surface and walk in the footsteps of past gold miners at Bendigo's iconic Central Deborah Gold Mine. With only the lamp on your helmet to light the path our friendly and knowledgeable guides will regale you with stories from a bygone era as you explore the honeycomb of underground tunnels, see past mining equipment in action and discover what conditions as a miner were really like during the harsh gold rush. Afterwards, explore the surface of the mine with its treasure trove of vintage mining machinery, gold panning and interpretive museum.
