The Royal National Park is located south of Sydney. The park has a range of beautiful natural formations including freshwater pools, forests, waterfalls, lagoons, cliffs, beaches and rockpools. On our walk to Wedding Cake Rock we will see a wonderful coastal landscape with amazing cliffs, heathland and sandstone formations. The stunning white sandstone of Wedding Cake Rock is perfectly complemented by the blue of the Pacific Ocean. Our next destination is the scenic Wattamolla waterfall which cascades into a large lagoon that meanders to the nearby beach. We then head through the park to Governor Game lookout for a nutritious lunch, followed by an inspection of the tessellated pavement at Garie Beach. At Bald Hill lookout we will view the sweeping coastal headlands and may see local hang gliders in action. The day is finished with an inspection of the cantilevered Sea Cliff Bridge. We have the option of a short visit to a microbrewery on the way home.
