Continue your journey along the Great Ocean Road and explore an ancient rainforest, visit quaint seaside villages, encounter wild Koalas and stop at incredible lookouts. Take the morning ferry across Port Phillip Bay to the Mornington Peninsula famous for stunning beaches, colourful bathing boxes and mountain top views. Journey to Phillip Island and explore the Phillip Island Nature Park exploring Cape Woolamai, Nobbies Board Walk and Seal Rocks. Tonight after dark you will experience a close encounter with 100's & 100's of wild Little Penguins as the return to their coastal habitat before returning to Melbourne.
DAY 1 Melbourne to Torquay (L, D) Take a trip along the Great Ocean Road starting at the 12 Apostles and exploring the Shipwreck Coast stopping at some magnificent spots along the way. Have lunch by the coast, see the ancient Otway’s Rainforest and search for koalas in the wild, as well as some spectacular scenery along the Surf Coast. Enjoy dinner before spending the night in the coastal town of Torquay on the Great Ocean Road.DAY 2 Mornington to Phillip Island to Melbourne(B) On the second day take a ferry across to Sorrento and spend some time exploring and the picturesque Mornington Peninsula. Enjoy the afternoon to get up-close and personal with some Australian wildlife. Then arrive to Phillip Island and head to the Nobbies to view the stunning rocky coastline and seal colony.
