Biodynamic wine? What's that all about?? Well why not come along & taste at the cellar door of the producer that has won the best biodynamic wine world wide for 3 consecutive years in a row. Plus we also get along to taste one of our most iconic tasmanian gins currently being produced at Shene Estate and as it is called poltergeist, will you hear the ghosts of the last 199 years of the estate? We finally finish @ Pooley Wines Belmont Tasting House Cellar Door, which is built from the sandstone quarried right from the hill where it is located. Plus your guide personally had a hand in helping to plant that current vinyard. What a morning lineup that is! (Teenagers are able to come on the tour, however not participate in any alcoholic tastings or experiences 15yrs - 17yrs)

Please be @ this address 5-10 minutes before the departure time to ensure a smooth and timely departure. Stop At: Stefano Lubiana Wines Pty Ltd.The biodynamic champion of Tasmania, but not in a crazy religion style way, and is simply a way to make better grapes as well as have a healthier vineyard in general. Something i would support in my experience and add that biodynamic viticulture doesn’t magic wine - it is simply about making good wine and talking about what comes out of the bottle at the end of the day. Up to 4 wines tasted. Duration: 45 minutesStop At: Shene Tasmania, Pontville, Greater Hobart, Tasmania199 years of heritage is simply something that can’t be made, it has to be endured. Would that these walls could whisper, what do you think they would say? That might be why their gin is called Poltergeist. Let’s see if there are some ghosts there or not. Up to 3 products tasted (Roadside stall only this tour)Duration: 30 minutesStop At: Richmond Bridge, Richmond, Clarence, Greater Hobart, Tasmania(Time Permitting)Is a beautiful visual landscape that showcases a well preserved look at houses of the early colonial period from Tasmania’s history. We walk along the banks of the Coal River, up along the Richmond Bridge (the oldest convict bridge in Australia *1823) and finish at the famous Richmond Tasting House (a local delicatessen). Duration: 30 minutesStop At: Pooley Wines, Richmond, Clarence, Greater Hobart, TasmaniaBelmont House Tasting Room. The Pooley family is Tasmania’s only 3rd generation family wine business, consistently winning major awards and trophies for their entire range, with their tasting room being located on the hill where all the stone for Richmond was quarried from, and I personally had a hand in planting some of the current Butchers Hill Vineyard. Their Margaret Pooley Tribute Riesling is a standout of the Estate. Up to 4 wines tasted.
