The Freycinet Retreat Guided Walk is an all-inclusive two night, three day walking holiday to the Freycinet Peninsula on Tasmania’s east coast, where you will get to experience beautiful views of the Hazards Mountain range and world class beaches.Over the three days you will get to walk the Freycinet peninsula from Wine Glass Bay to Cooks Beach along pristine beaches, sample the local seafood (oysters & mussels), enjoy east coast Tasmania's finest wine while staying in your own private, secluded twin share accommodation.
Day One:Hotel pickups will commence at 0800 and we will be leaving Hobart by 0830.On the drive to Freycinet we will collect produce along the way, first stop will be at Wicked Cheese, followed by morning tea at Kelvedon beach where we glimpse the Freycinet Peninsula. The next stop will be to get virgin pressed olive oil from a local producer before heading to Milton winery for a tasting and to pick up our wine for the weekend.We continue to the 'Gulch' at Bicheno to pick up our fresh seafood for the three days and enjoy lunch. After lunch we will head to the Farm Shed to sample some of the 20 wineries the East Coast of Tasmania has to offer.Following Bicheno we arrive at Sleepy Bay on the Freycinet Peninsular, where we welcome you to Freycinet and enjoy a short walk over lichen covered granite. Day Two:Begin the day with a cooked breakfast followed by a short walk to the wineglass bay lookout, we will then proceed to walk along Freycinet Peninsular; down to wineglass bay beach across to Hazards Beach finishing our walk at Cooks Beach where a boat will be waiting to take us back. Throughout the day we offer morning tea and lunch ... Option to swim also.Day Three:Start the day with a morning walk from our accommodation to Coles Bay, with views of picnic island and Hazards mountains. After the walk we drive to Springvale Estate where we have lunch and a wine tasting, before we drive back to Hobart.
