Japan reveals world's first laundry-folding robot

A new high-tech machine that can fold clothes has been demonstrated at a trade show in Tokyo.

The ‘Laundroid’ has the ability to analyse the type of clothing item placed into it, and then fold the item in an appropriate manner. The machine can currently fold t-shirts, collared shirts, skirts, shorts, trousers and towels, though is yet to master socks. It’s estimated that a full load of clothes would take the machine seven hours to fold. Read more: rocketnews24.com
