Western Australia town faces unusual traffic hazard

The town of Kununurra in the Kimberley in Western Australia is dealing with a new kind of traffic hazard: crocodiles. The police have released a photo of a freshwater crocodile caught in the headlights on the main access road into town. The Department of Parks and Wildlife explained that the crocodiles are on the move because of the hotter nights they’re experiencing. The crocodiles walk around to cool off. If a crocodile is blocking traffic experts are required to move it, otherwise motorists are advised to drive slowly and carefully around crocodiles. Read more: abc.net.au
