Watch the great wildebeest migration live on the web

Every year a million wildebeest, 500,000 gazelles and 200,000 zebras make the perilous march from the short grass plains of the southern Serengeti in Tanzania to the phosphorous rich grazing grounds of Kenya’s Masai Mara Reserve.

For the first time ever, it will be possible to watch the dramatic events live on the internet, complete with expert commentary. There will be twice daily broadcasts on Twitter’s Periscope app, which should run 10 to 20 minutes each. They will also be viewable on YouTube and the www.discoverafrica.com/herdtrackerlive website.
