Washington State residents angry over mudslide tour

A river tour operator is facing an onslaught of criticism after advertising a river tour that highlights devastation caused by a deadly mudslide in Washington. Last year 43 people were killed when a mudslide engulfed a neighborhood of Oso, Washington. Now a rafting excursion says it will take rafters down a section of the Stillaguamish River that passes where much of the damage occurred. The river tour operator says it gives rafters a chance to understand what happened and memorialize those lost, but survivors of the 2014 mudslide say the operator is profiting from their tragedy.
