Warsaw Film Festival underway with over 100 international movies lined up

The 31st annual Warsaw Film Festival has kicked off, lining up over 100 movies and documentaries created by film-makers from 48 countries.

Running until 18 October, and featuring films such 'Sparrows' by Runar Runarsson – which  was awarded the top prize at the San Sebastian film festival in September – the event will also run Q&A sessions with directors, screenwriters and actors, and well as workshops and seminars for aspiring film-makers.
