Verona bans the creation of ‘ethnic’ restaurants
The Italian city of Verona has moved to limit the number of restaurants serving ‘ethnic’ or fried food by banning the creation of these types of establishment.
Mayor Flavio Tosi has said that kebab shops and other fast food outlets could ‘impact the decorum of our city’ and claims he is trying to protect the culture, traditions and architecture of the city centre.
