US issues warning of terrorist attack in Kampala

The embassy of the United States in Kampala, Uganda has issued a warning to Western nationals that they may be targeted by terrorists in the capital. It said it had "received information of possible threats" at various locations in the city where Western nationals gather. Some planned events at Kampala hotels have been cancelled in precaution.
