Unknown Croatian island to become tourism hub

The beautiful and little-known Croatian island of Obonjan, situated near Šibenik on the Dalmatian coast, is set to become a major tourist destination in the coming years, after the island’s owners signed an agreement with a team of investors, including British music promoter Sound Channel, who already run Hideout and Lost & Found music festivals. The plan is to add to the island’s natural beauty with new accommodation, high-quality food and creative, artistic and musical events, with the first tourists set to arrive in summer 2016.
