How two strangers made a hassled mum's flight with a toddler easier
While flying is amazing and brings you to wonderful places, it can be stressful when you have a toddler in tow, but two strangers made the experience much better for one hassled mum.
In a post on the Love What Matters Facebook page, a US mum explained that her journey to a flight she was taking had been stressful. Alyson Hershelman, her husband and toddler daughter had risen in the middle of the night and waited needlessly in the security line over 45 minutes. Then they left a bag behind at security, which caused them to miss their flight.
Once on board the new flight, Alyson and her husband were seated separately in two middle seats, which was awkward as they had an "energetic toddler." The anxious mum was very grateful that one man swapped seats with her husband without asking so they could sit together.
Then the woman next to them called Shelly held their daughter to let her look out the window and even take a nap. "Words can't express how truly grateful we are to have sat next to you," said Alyson. "Out of all the other people on the plane we could have sat next to, we got you and we thank God."
"As I sat at our departure airport after we missed our flight so early this morning, I prayed," she added. "I had no idea that God would send us not one, but two angels as an answer to those prayers."
