Tunisia deserted by tourists after terrorist attacks
Three months after the shooting of 38 people on a beach in Sousse, the tourism industry in Tunisia has all but collapsed.
Many government travel advisories warn against travel to the country and the number of British tourists is predicted to fall by up to 90% this year - 2014’s figures were already low at 420,000. The police presence in hotels has increased and there are visibly armed officers at tourist areas, but many hotels have had to close due to lack of business. Read more: theguardian.com
