Travel advisory lifted for Mombasa and Kenya’s southern coast

The UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has lifted its travel advisory for Mombasa and Kenya’s southern coast. This means that the entire stretch of coast between Watamu and the Tanzanian border is open to British visitors. This section includes popular tourist spots such as Mombasa, Diani Beach, Shimoni and Wasini. The remaining FCO advisories are now largely restricted to the northeast of the Kenya, close to the border with Somalia. Read more:
