Thieves brazenly rob paintings from Madrid gallery

Thieves stole about 70 paintings from the Puerta de Alcalá art gallery in Madrid last week. Paintings were left leaning against trees and a security guard was fooled into thinking the theft was essential gallery work. The men are believed to have entered the gallery via an adjacent empty bar and are thought to have spent two to three hours carrying paintings out before loading them into a van.
