Thailand to introduce new multi-entry visa

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has given the go-head for Thailand to offer a six month multiple-entry visa.

The new visa initiative will come into effect 60 days after receiving approval from the Cabinet and will be available for all countries. The six month visa will cost tourists THB5000 and comes as part of a three year plan to boost Thailand’s tourism. Thailand hopes to draw in a record 28 million visitors this year which will amount to a THB2.2 trillion income for the country's economy. Read more: travelmole.com
