Hunger Games salute becomes unofficial symbol of resistance in Thailand.

Five Thai students were reportedly taken to a ‘military camp’ after flashing the three-finger salute from Hollywood blockbuster The Hunger Games during a public address by Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha. The gesture, which has become an unofficial symbol of resistance against Thailand’s military regime, is banned under martial law. Read more:
