Spend a night in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ secret New York lair at a new Airbnb
A new Airbnb is about to fulfil a lot of childhood dreams – allowing visitors to chill and eat pizza in the secret lair of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in New York.
With a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' movie hitting theatres in June, the Airbnb will allow six guests per night to experience the world of everyone’s favourite warrior reptiles. The space is listed by the character Leonardo and notes that "when we're not training in our secret dojo, we're out saving the city — and the planet — from this totally bad dude, Shredder. We're about to go halfway around the world to shut down his latest nutso scheme. Peace out!”
While they’re away, lucky guests have a chance to stay in their Tribeca lair, which includes a glow-in-the-dark basketball court, a retro arcade and lots of video games. There are also three bedrooms – some with bunkbeds, which might indicate it’s a more family-friendly getaway. They also note that there are no drugs and alcohol allowed, and while you can have a couple of friends stop by for the fun, there are no additional overnight guests allowed. But perhaps the best part – the stay also comes with a free pizza delivery.
While the listing says it will cost about $10 to rent, guests will actually have their money returned. For everyone who stays, they will donate money to PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center.
Naturally, the available dates booked up fast – but according to the listing, if you follow @TMNTMovie on social media there will be hints of when new nights are available.
