Tasmanians told to ‘love your customer’

All Tasmanians, not just those working in the tourism sector, are being called upon to improve their customer service or face a downturn in visitor numbers after a record year in tourism. The Tasmanian Tourism Industry Council has told petrol station operators and pharmacists that they too benefit from Tasmania’s tourism growth. Hotel executive, Rachel Argaman said modern tourists travel more regularly and expect a higher level of customer service. Australians are renowned for being friendly but that isnt always enough.
