Tanker and ferry collide near Gothenburg harbour
A tanker carrying 12,000 tons of fuel and a passenger ferry with 600 people on board collided outside Gothenburg harbour in the early hours of Sunday morning.
No one was injured in the incident, and while the collision ripped a hole in the stern of the ferry, it was able to make it to the harbour on its own steam. Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the collision and the Swedish Coast Guard are currently searching for possible fuel leaks from the tanker. Read more: thelocal.se
