T in the Park kicks off at new home and bans selfie sticks
Scotland’s biggest music festival, T in the Park, has opened. Over 80,000 people are expected to attend over the event, which has moved from Balado to a new site by Strathallan Castle despite controversy over nearby osprey nests.

The festival has banned selfie sticks and nitrous oxide this year. Acts performing include Kasabian, the Libertines and David Guetta. Read more: bbc.co.uk
